![]() Larry is a 2018 Puget Sound Business Journal 40-under-40 honoree for his civic and business impact in the region. Larry received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and graduated from Stanford University with a concentration in behavioral economics. While at HP, he served as an advisor to the company’s CEO and executive council on tax and technology policy issues in the U.S. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Larry established and managed a global government relations team at Hewlett-Packard. Larry provides financial advice, education and investment management expertise to high net worth family groups, foundations, endowments, and Native American tribes across the U.S. VP of Private Wealth Management, Goldman SachsĪs a native Washingtonian and having grown up in Bellingham, Larry has strong ties to the Pacific Northwest. She is thrilled to be part of the Cascade team and is committed to improving systems of education on large and small scales. Katie earned her M.Ed in Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Washington and a B.A. During her time in the classroom, she implemented a new social-emotional curriculum, led and adapted math, language arts, and social studies lessons, and organized and arranged community-based learning experiences for the students. Katie has also co-authored an article published by The 74, Financial Uncertainty Requires Leaders to Make Tough Choices and Stay Focused on Students.īefore her work in education research, Katie taught in New York City elementary schools from 2015 to 2018 at The Brearley School and The Dalton School. Her analyses explore funding formulas, intra-district equity, and cost variation of education services. Katie is a research fellow at Edunomics Lab where she examines K-12 public education finance data. Research Fellow at Edunomics Lab, Georgetown University Bonnie now serves as director of professional learning at a Seattle-based nonprofit organization, Global Online Academy, where she develops leading edge learning opportunities for education leaders and school-based teams. She has also presented at numerous education conferences. She is the author of numerous publications and 100+ articles, and her work has been published on websites such as The Huffington Post, ParentMap, and Education Week. Bonnie co-wrote a guidebook for educators called The Role of Noncognitive Skills in Student Success and a book for parents on educational trends that impact families and students. At Big Picture Learning, an international network of innovative schools, Bonnie was a school design coach, where she led training for educators in social and emotional learning and the role of noncognitive skills in college degree attainment. Director of Professional Learning, Global Online AcademyĪn experienced educator, Bonnie served as teacher and counselor at a project-based school in Seattle and co-led the development of a competency-based high school transcript.
